To check for bearing damage, it can be found that in most cases, it may cause them. Generally speaking, only one-third of the damage caused by bearing fatigue damage comes from poor lubrication, and the other one-third comes from pollutants entering the bearing or improper installation and handling. However, these types of injuries are unrelated to industrial bearings, which are precision parts and therefore require a considerable amount of time with caution. Even high-performance bearings, if used improperly, cannot achieve the expected performance effect and are prone to bearing damage.

Therefore, the use of bearings should pay attention to the following points:

1、 Keeping SKF bearings and their surrounding environment clean, even tiny invisible dust entering the bearings, can increase bearing wear, vibration, and noise.

2、 Use installation carefully, ensure strong stamping, do not directly hit the bearing with a hammer, and do not allow the passage of active pressure.

3、 Appropriate and accurate installation tools should be used to utilize special tools, and the use of fabrics and short fibers should be avoided as much as possible.

4、 To prevent bearing corrosion, select the bearings directly by hand, thoroughly wash away sweat, and then apply high-quality mineral oil. Pay attention to rust prevention. However, under certain special operating conditions, bearings can achieve longer life than traditional calculations, especially under light load conditions. These special operating conditions are when the rolling surface (track and rolling elements) is an effective lubricant film separating and limiting pollutants that can cause surface damage.
