The lead pressure method and plug gauge method are used for measurement, and the radial clearance translation is not indicated in the bearing code. The clearance of the bearing varies according to its inner diameter, and it is determined by checking the table. In general, the radial clearance of rolling bearings cannot exceed 0.3% of the inner diameter of the bearing, and the radial clearance of radial short circular column bearings cannot exceed 0.2% of the inner diameter of the bearing.

The clearance between bearings is also known as bearing clearance.

Bearing clearance refers to the amount of movement of a bearing when one of its inner or outer rings is fixed before it is installed on the shaft or bearing housing, and then facilitates radial or axial movement of the unsecured one. According to the direction of movement, it can be divided into radial clearance and axial clearance.

Radial clearance: The amount of movement of one ring relative to the fixed ring from one extreme position to another in the radial direction when there is no load.

Axial clearance: The amount of movement of one ring relative to the fixed ring from one extreme position to another in the axial direction when there is no load.
