1. Various mechanical injuries, such as abrasion, scratch, compression, collision, etc., can cause poor installation of bearings, resulting in biased loads and stress concentration, leading to a decrease in rotational accuracy and service life.

2. Rust, black skin, and pitting are the latter two types of defects that are prone to storing moisture and dirt, and can easily develop into rust. Corrosion is a source of pollution that leads to poor installation, early wear, and fatigue, and severe corrosion can render bearings useless.

3. Various cracks, such as raw material cracks, forging cracks, heat treatment cracks, and grinding cracks, will become stress concentration sources and rapidly expand during the operation of bearings in the future, causing bearing rupture and greatly affecting bearing life and work safety. In fact, for bearings with important applications, bearing factories have conducted magnetic or radiographic inspections on their constituent parts.

4. Peeling and folding are two types of defects where the local bonding with the base metal is not strong, and there is often varying degrees of decarburization or carbon depletion around them. The material is prone to collapse, indentation, or wear, which is detrimental to the bearing life and accuracy.

5. The quality of riveting or welding of the retaining frame mainly depends on whether the rivet head is offset, skewed, loose, lacking flesh or "double eyelids", whether the welding position is correct, whether the welding point is too large or too small, and whether there is insufficient welding or excessive welding causing the rolling element to get stuck.

The above items are the key parts we focus on inspecting SKF imported bearings. In addition to the above-mentioned inspections, if the typing quality is poor, such as blurry or damaged handwriting, it should be considered a defective product, and serious cases may not be accepted.
